What is Laser Gènese (Jeunesse)?
Laser Genèse (Jeunesse, or the ‘Hollywood Facial’ as we often refer to it) is a near-infrared laser which provides long-lasting stimulation of elastin, making it perfect for skin rejuvenation. It is primarily used to treat scarring, redness wrinkles, age spots, and uneven texture.
How does it work?
The treatment gently warms the dermis layer, stimulating collagen remodelling to soften fine lines and wrinkles while reducing redness and pigmentation. It’s pain-free and often is described as feeling like warm raindrops on the skin.
How many treatments will I need?
To achieve ideal results we recommend at least four to six treatments performed once a fortnight, with maintenance treatments over time to ensure the longevity of the results. There is no maximum number of treatments. The more the better!
What do I need to do post-treatment?
There is no downtime! However, after your treatment it’s still important to avoid exposure to the sun, and to heat in general – avoid spa pools, hot baths or saunas for a couple of days. You may notice slight redness following the treatment which usually resolves within a few hours.
